the gym was an absolute disaster—old machines and a stuffy atmosphere. oh, and staff? barely acknowledged it was my wife's birthday. quite shocking for a supposed luxury hotel. and somehow, despite my clear need, no complimentary welcome gift was offered. i guess they simply don’t care. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Extensive gardens, delicious in-room breakfast. Wi-Fi was spotty, which was frustrating.

The chateau is surrounded by a beautiful 12-hectare park and the heated outdoor pool was a hit with the kids. We also enjoyed exploring the charming port of Port-en-Bessin nearby, famous for its scallop fishing. It was a lovely, intimate experience for our family of seven.
In my wife’s opinion, a kids' play area could really enhance the experience.

Recommend it for families seeking luxury
We had a divine meal in the hotel restaurant where the waiters treated us like royalty and made sure to cater to my daughter's food allergy. The grounds of the hotel were stunning, we enjoyed cocktails in the garden which was like something out of a storybook, truly a perfect place to relax after a day of touring.
It wasn’t exactly pocket change, but honestly, worth every penny.
